Ron Baptiste

Mr. Baptiste started his professional career as a staff auditor with Peat, Marwick and Mitchell CPAs (know known as KPM CPAs) after serving four years in the United States Air Force. He is an achievement-oriented financial professional with over twenty five years of diversified experience in accounting, fund accounting, cash flow management business performance reporting, and financial analysis. He has extensive experience in cost improvement and capital project analysis, annual business plan development, and multi-million dollar budgeting. Mr. Baptiste has over fifteen year of experience with the Regional Transit Authority. He played a key role as part of the initial team with establishing automated financial systems and internal controls. As the Regional Transit Authority’s current CFO, Mr. Baptiste’s efforts have helped the Authority stabilized its financial position and receive an A- Bond rating. Mr. Baptiste has over eight year experience as the VP of Finance and General Manager in Hotel and Apartment development and management as an executive with HRI Management
