Business
Laura Brown is a member of the Consumer Financial
Services Group, where she concentrates her practice on banking and
consumer finance law. She represents local and national banks and
financial institutions in connection with deposit matters and varied
aspects of consumer finance, including residential mortgage banking,
credit card law and regulatory and compliance matters.
Laura is the Chairman of the Deposit Products and
Payment Systems subcommittee of the ABA's Consumer Financial Services
Committee and was vice chairman from 2008-2011.
Laura regularly speaks at national and regional
conferences regarding banking and lending regulations and compliance,
especially focusing on the many recent and far reaching changes in
consumer finance law.
