NINA HEBERT-MARCHAND

Nina Hebert-Marchand is Vice Chairperson of the Industrial Development Board of the City of New Orleans.  Nina Hebert-Marchand is president/CEO of ONYX Diversified Management Consultants, Inc. (ONYX, Inc.). ONYX, Inc. was founded in September of 1997 as a Project Management firm.  Nina is also president of the Lower 9^th Ward “Economic Uplift” Development Foundation, Inc., a (501(c)3 non-profit corporation), which was organized in October 1998.  The Foundation’s overall purpose is to encourage participation and cooperation of neighborhood residents, business owners, representatives of local government, and representatives of financial institutions, nonprofits and other foundations to improve social economic, physical and general community conditions and to promote, stimulate and foster investment and reinvestment within this community.  Nina Hebert-Marchand is currently employed with the Orleans Levee District since 1993 as Compliance Program Director. Her current responsibilities are the Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) Program Director as it pertains to procurement, construction, leases, concessions, and personal and professional services contracts.
