EDWIN M. SHORTY, JR.
Mr. Edwin Shorty
is the managing partner in the Law Firm of Shorty, Dooley, & Hall. Mr.
Edwin Shorty is a 1998 Graduate of Southern University at New Orleans
with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a minor in
Economic. Mr. Shorty obtained his Juris Doctorate from Southern
University Law Center in 2002. Mr. Shorty is admitted to practice in all
Louisiana State Courts and in the United States Federal Court for he
Eastern and Middle Districts of Louisiana.
Prior to joining
this office Mr. Shorty served as a Judicial Law Clerk for Judge Piper
Griffin of The Orleans Parish Civil District Court from April 2003 until
October 2003. He then operated as a sole practioner in The Law Office of
Edwin Shorty & Associates. He also served as General Counsel for the
Desire Narcotics Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Shorty
practices in the areas of Personal Injury, Bankruptcy, Wills and
Successions. Mr. Shorty’s Civic and Professional Associations and
include the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar
Association, and the Board of Directors of the French & Audubon
Montessori School. |
