A Message From Our Mayor
It is with great pleasure that I have the opportunity to speak about the
Industrial Development Board of the City of New Orleans.
The Industrial Development Board has played a pivotal part in the economic
growth of the city since the early 1970’s.
This nonprofit corporation has made possible a multitude of projects that
cultivated financial growth for the community.
I anticipate a great deal of expansion in every aspect of economic growth
for the City of New Orleans and I know that the Industrial Development Board
will continue to be a leader in promoting economic opportunities for our
great city.
By providing opportunities for low cost bond financing and access to other
incentives, the Industrial Development Board is an important tool in our
economic development efforts. Further, the Industrial Development Board is
completely self supporting and operates without city funds.
